As a faith-based business Leslie’s Cleaning Service clings to Colossians 3:23 “And whatsoever ye do,do it heartily as to The Lord and not unto men.” Therefore, every job that we do as a business we pray that it is pleasing to God. We believe that we should strive to proclaim Jesus Christ in every aspect of our life and walk as a follower of Christ with a pure heart. So not only do we see every job as an opportunity to glorify God, but we see every client as a member of the family and look for opportunities to show love and shine as light in a dark world.
We understand that many people even of the same Faith would disagree with the idea of making our Faith so prevalent in our business. We realize that by making these things apparent we put a target on our backs in an ever-growing world of Christian persecution, but we hold to Luke 9:23-26
23 “And he said unto them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross daily, and follow me.”
24 “For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: but whosoever will lose his life for my sake, the same shall save it.”
25 “For what is a man advantaged, if he gain the whole world, and lose himself, or be cast away?”
26 “For whosoever shall be ashamed of me and of my words, of him shall the Son of man be Ashamed, when he shall come in his own glory, and in his Father’s, and of the holy angles.”
Therefore, we see this Statement of Faith not as a burden or marketing tool, but as an opportunity to show that we are not ashamed to call Jesus our Lord.
